Kindergarten Orientation 2026
Helping Your Child Start School with Confidence
We are excited to welcome families to our Kindergarten Orientation Program for children starting school in 2026. Orientation is an important part of preparing your child for a smooth and positive start to school life.
Why is Kindergarten Orientation Important?
Our orientation sessions are designed to:
- Help your child become familiar with our school environment in a fun and engaging way
- Support early social interaction with peers and teachers
- Build your child’s confidence through play-based learning activities
- Develop early skills needed for a successful start to Kindergarten
Starting school is a big step, and for many children, this may be their first experience outside of their immediate or extended family. A positive introduction to school can help shape their attitude towards learning and school life for years to come.
Kindergarten Expo & Orientation
We invite all new families to join us for our Kindergarten Expo, on Tuesday 28th October 2025 from 11:30am. It will be a wonderful opportunity to meet our staff, explore the school and discover the exciting learning opportunities we offer. Families will hear about our early learning programs, wellbeing support and how we make the transition to school a positive experience for every child.
To support a smooth and confident start, we also offer four Kindergarten Orientation Sessions throughout Term 4. These sessions allow children to experience classroom learning, build friendships and become familiar with their new school environment.
Our 4 orientation sessions will be held on the following dates:
- Tuesday 4th November from 9:15am
- Tuesday 11th November from 9:15am
- Tuesday 18th November from 9:15am
- Tuesday 25th November from 9:15am
We encourage all children to attend all orientation sessions to gain the full benefit of the program.
Parents are invited to attend information sessions during orientation to help support their child’s transition to school.
