Our extra-curricular highlights
Public Speaking
Our students build confidence, sharpen their thinking, and strengthen their teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have opportunities to showcase their talents by competing in local and state events, representing our school with pride.
Trips and excursions
At our school, learning doesn’t just happen inside the classroom. Our students love heading out on excursions to explore, discover, and try new things. These experiences spark curiosity, build confidence, and show how classroom learning connects to the real world
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music, and art programs give students the chance to imagine, create, and express themselves in exciting ways. From singing in concerts to showcasing artwork and stepping onto the stage for drama activities, students are encouraged to shine and share their talents with our school community.
Opportunity Classes and Selective High Schools
Opportunity classes (OC) are designed for high-achieving students in Years 5 and 6 who enjoy learning and need extra challenges. These classes provide a more advanced and engaging curriculum to help students develop their skills and interests.
Selective high schools offer a special learning environment for gifted students from Year 7 to Year 12. These schools have a strong focus on academic excellence and provide students with opportunities to grow their knowledge, leadership, and personal skills.
Admission to opportunity classes and selective high schools is based on a competitive test. This helps identify students who will benefit most from these programs. Both options aim to support students in reaching their full potential and preparing for future study and success.
