Welcome to 5/6 Olive!
The students in 5/6 Olive have settled into the new school year beautifully, especially after a bit of moving around. We are now in our freshly renovated and painted rooms and loving it!
At the start of the year we came up with 3 rules that we all decided would lead to a productive and happy classroom. They were:
1. Always try your best.
2. Put your hand up to speak.
3. Be kind and caring towards your peers.
We are also working hard following the whole school rules of Be an Active Learner, Be Safe and Be Respectful. Students have been earning Busby Bucks through excellent behaviour choices. I can’t wait to see what they decide to buy at the fast-approaching market day!
Just a few things to remember:
Our library day is Thursday. Students cannot borrow a book for home without a library bag.
Our sport day is Friday, so please come in sensible shoes.
