4/5 Olive has a welcoming and positive classroom climate where the different needs of students are catered for and student centred activities provide a supportive and stimulating environment to maximise student learning.
Students follow the classroom rules which create a positive learning environment for them to learn.
In English, we are learning to create imaginative text, focusing on the use of grammar. In Mathematics, we are focusing on multiplicative place value, addition, subtraction, measurement and time. In History, we are learning about Australia as a Nation. Our topic in Science is ‘Desert Survivors', where students show their understanding through experiments. In PDHPE safety is our main topic and every week we participate in GOT Game and Soul Drumming .
