3/4 Adler

Teacher - Mr Angus

Welcome to 3/4 Adler

My name is Benjamin Angus and this is my fourth year at Busby PS. I have had the great pleasure in being the relieving Assistant Principal for Stage 2 throughout Term 1 and am in my 12th year as a teacher.

What an amazing term we have had so far in 3/4 Adler. Each day is fantastic to see such smiling faces, who are eager to learn and make new discoveries.

We have been busy analysing and studying the text "Fantastic Mr Fox" and exploring the depths of narrative. We are learning new handwriting techniques to become more fluent writers and experimenting with cursive writing techniques. In Maths we have been looking at place value; addition and subtraction; number patterns and have started looking at multiplication and division. Science has seen us study the nature of living and non-living things. We enjoy our weekly history lessons with Mrs Peulic. SISA Sport provide us with amazing fun every fortnight for our sporting lessons, and Mr Angus does his best to inspire our curious minds during art lessons.

This term has seen us participate in Gala Days, visit the Camden Show, and celebrate Harmony Day and our Easter Hat Parade. We especially loved Harmony Day as we have begun our inclusive partnership connection with K/6 Newton, building connections with inclusive education for a holistic learning approach.

We look forward to a relaxing holiday period and more amazing learning opportunities in Term 2.
